Roundtable: EU Crisis Management

Professor Dr Christian Kreuder-SonnenExternal link participated as a speaker in the EU Crisis Management seminar at Sieps, the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies, on April 29, 2022.

During the public seminar, four European researchers shared their analyses on how the EU has dealt with the crises of the 21st century. Professor Dr Kreuder-Sonnen was joined by Vivien A. Schmidt, Astrid Séville, and Jonathan White. They provided insights into the strengths and weaknesses of EU crisis management and made assessments on how to improve the EU’s crisis management capacity. Their analyses are summarized in an anthology that was presented at the seminar. Professor Kreuder-Sonnen’s contribution is entitled The Case for an EU Emergency Constitution.
